Every year, Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida comes up with one way or the other to showcase all that our children learn and experience while learning at school. This year again, the pre-primary wing came up with an interesting concept of special class presentations for nursery and pre-nursery which had various stage performances by the tiny tots of the school. Special assembly presentations were a glimpse of the learning which the children have learnt throughout the year. The tiny tots grew up to be more confident, expressive, respectful and disciplined. All round the year, they not only learnt their ABC’s or 123 but also learned about environment and imbibed good values. Our guest of honour for the day were Mr. Rajeev Katyal, Deputy COO of GIIS, Mr. Rajeev Bansal- Director operations, GIIS India, Mrs. Sunita Jaisingh - National Academic Head of GIIS, India, Pre- primary coordinator Mrs. Rachna Jain and our esteemed parents. The stage performance provided our students to showcase their talents and urge the teachers to put their best. It was on this occasion that children got a chance to step on to the stage and conquer their fear of speaking or performing in front of a large audience. The special presentations kicked off with Pre Nursery where tiny tots of the class performed full of confidence and welcomed all the parents with love and affection. Being their first performance ever on stage, they participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Next were nursery A and B who staged the amazing usefulness and benefits of 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) and the adventures of a jungle safari respectively. The whole idea was to give out a message of saving our natural resources and loving every living creature. Children of Nursery C took the stage next to depict a beautiful narration on what the beauty night holds and how moon & stars add light to the dark sky. Nursery D children on the other hand depicted various seasons through different craft activities and season fest. Lastly, Nursery E children presented an energetic bit on the moral values and how praying to God must be in our daily routine, and brought out the role of parents and teachers in instilling good moral values among children. Put simply, giving out a loud a message that education is not just acquisition of knowledge but also a formation of character. |
