The Pre-primary wing of Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida conducted their Annual Presentation Fest named Thoughtlight 2020 in February 2020, in campus to spread and create awareness about issues that are posing serious threats to the mankind and living organisms. The event was full of colours, excitement and enthusiasm as our little stars light up the stage with their outstanding narrations and dance performances. With their small steps on stage, our little ones gave a big message to all grownups present in the audience. The presentation on "Seasons" and "Animal Kingdom" served as perfect way of creating awareness among individuals and motivating them to follow the right path towards issues that are hampering humanity. Pre-Nursery and Nursery students began their presentation with remembering the almighty; they sang a prayer Achutam Keshavam followed by depiction of various seasons and the festivals associated with each one of them. The concept they tried to depict was the variety of colours each season brings and how they impact the food eating habits of Indians. KG students of the pre-primary wing put up a great show on the topic - The World of Animals; with help of colourful attires, head gears, acts and dances, little munchkins of the campus explained the importance of the ecological balance these animals maintain for their survival. Hence, saving the animals becomes all the more important for human existence as both the entities depend upon each other for survival. The objective of the Annual Presentation was to provide the young minds with some kind of physical activity that helps in building their self-esteem, confidence, and social skills besides motivating them to excel in life. They got a chance to explore their creative talents and work in groups, learn patience, team work, discipline and so much more that improvises one’s personality to a whole new level. |
