Mother’s Day celebration; Healthy Tiffin Day for Grades 1 & 2

			<p>The bond of a mother and her child is inexplicable. To celebrate the same bond of affection and love, Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida celebrated Mother&rsquo;s Day with a lot of emotions and merriment. Students of grades 1 and 2 organized a fun filled day in May 2018,&nbsp;for the mothers to make sure that no one in school misses the warmth and purity of the bond that is beyond any other relationship in the world.</p>

<p>Teachers from grades 1 and 2 made earnest efforts to instil the importance of the day among children, and helped them in framing and executing a beautiful dance presentation for the mothers to witness and enjoy on the day of celebrations. Looking at the innocent faces, mothers too got a chance to revisit their childhood memories, and become a child herself in that moment of absolute happiness and delight.</p>

<p>Later mothers also participated in games like &lsquo;TWO TRUE AND TWO FALSE&rsquo; where each mom had to state two true and two false statements about her child. The children, out of immense love and gratitude, crafted hand-made cards for their moms in which they had expressed their feelings in their own special ways; a handwritten note is definitely the best gift a mom can ever get from her child.</p>

<p>Gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement could be seen as the little ones dedicated a special song to their mothers. Each of them devotedly spoke about how much they love their mom. It was a heart-warming scene to witness children speaking whole heartedly, with such emotions and feelings, just to tell their mom what she means to them.</p>

<p>It was also a day of knowledge sharing; children spoke about the benefits of healthy food and how it positively effects the human body. A healthy tiffin competition was also organized where children displayed their healthy choices and spoke about them confidently.</p>

<p>Mother&rsquo;s Day celebration was conducted with an intent to salute the efforts of all the mothers and to give them a chance to enjoy the love their children shared through various activities throughout the day. It was a memorable day for every child that left an everlasting impression on their innocent hearts.</p>
