Ever wondered what your future on a university campus might look like? GIIS Noida students from Grades 9 to 12, enrolled in the Career Counselling & University Guidance (CCUG) Programme, gained valuable insight into university life as they experienced learning and campus life at Shiv Nadar University. The visit enabled students to explore diverse academic programs and gain clarity on potential career pathways.

Students were warmly welcomed by Ms Anju (Head of Admission), who created an encouraging atmosphere for learning and exploration. This was followed by an interactive group session with a Bachelor of Management Studies second-year student who accompanied students throughout the visit and also conducted a campus tour for them. 

Further on, Mr Gurman (Member of SNU) provided an overview of undergraduate programs, helping our students understand the requirements necessary for admissions, while Ms Dolly (Member of SNU) introduced them to the Computer Science Engineering program, explaining its structure, specialisations and skill development. A faculty member from the Bachelor of Management Studies department also highlighted how it stands apart with its practical and interdisciplinary approach. These sessions encouraged students to ask questions and think deeply about their own aspirations. 

The experience extended beyond these sessions as the students visited advanced laboratories, including the Dassault Energy Systems Lab, the first of its kind in North India. Where students witnessed how innovation and technology come together in real-world applications. A walk through sports facilities and hostel halls offered a joy-filled insight into university life to students. 

The day was more than an academic visit; it was also a moment of inspiration and reflection, which left students with a clearer perspective, renewed confidence and a strong sense of direction for the future.
