GIIS Students wins at the KIDOVATORS- 21ST CENTURY SKILLS OLYMPIADS Finale

Ashmita Kulshreshtha of Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida brought laurels in name of the school by securing an ALL INDIA RANK - FIRST POSITION with a certificate, a gold medal and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 in the GRAND FINALE of the Creativity Program of KIDOVATORS EDU SUMMIT held in Bangalore in January 2019. After crossing the hurdles of ROUND -1 i.e. subjective written test at GIIS CAMPUS, ROUND-2 as regional finals and finally, ROUND-3 as grand finale where she was challenged with diverse individual and group challenges, our little champ emerged as a winner with complete intellect and demeanour.

In ROUND -1, more than 2000 students from over 600 schools across India participated. After this round 1200 students (600 for each Olympiad ) made it to the regional finals and finally, top 300 students (150 for each Olympiad ) progressed to the grand finale.

KIDOVATORS is the world’s first 21st century skills and competencies platform that helps school students across the world in building and acquiring skills they need to thrive in their future. The objective of the creativity program is to entrust the nation’s future workforce (currently studying in school) with creativity, caring and supervisory skills that help them nurturing their dreams with passion, creativity and preparedness. Children get to participate in a number of competitions based on their interest levels; these competitions aid adaptation to skills that reflect greater levels of satisfaction, happiness and productivity among students.

Speaking on the joyous moment, Mr. Ganesh Sharma (Principal) said - Ashmita has set a benchmark for other students to look up to and follow; she has won a prestigious title at such a tender age and has become an inspiration for her fellow classmates and school friends. I wish her all the best for all other future competitions. May she showcase her intellect power and win many more competitions to come.
