To celebrate the spirit of environmental awareness and responsibility, the students of Class 5D conducted a meaningful Earth Day Assembly along with a Sustainability Campaign. Centred around the theme “Restore Our Earth,” the programme aimed to inspire students to care for the planet through sustainable habits, mindful choices, and collective action.

The assembly commenced with a warm welcome by the student anchors, followed by a serene morning prayer that reflected gratitude towards Mother Earth. A powerful Thought of the Day encouraged everyone to contribute towards building a greener and healthier future. The News of the Day segment further enhanced awareness by highlighting important environmental updates and global sustainability initiatives.

One of the major highlights of the assembly was a thought-provoking skit presented by the students, showcasing the harmful impact of pollution, deforestation, and waste on the environment. Through impactful performances and meaningful storytelling, students also shared practical solutions and emphasized the importance of conservation and responsible living.

The programme also featured a vibrant dance performance symbolising harmony between humans and nature, along with a melodious song spreading the message of protecting and preserving our planet. As part of the Sustainability Campaign, students shared simple yet effective eco-friendly practices such as reducing plastic consumption, recycling waste, conserving water, and planting more trees.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to become environmentally conscious and responsible global citizens. The event served as a strong reminder that even the smallest actions can contribute towards restoring and protecting our Earth for future generations.
