GIIS Noida is happy to share the launch of Gavel Club in association with the Toastmasters International for grades 6-12 students of the school.

This club is for all those who are ready to embark on a thrilling journey of personal growth, communication mastery, and leadership development.

What is a Gavel Club, you ask?

It's a unique opportunity for students under the age of 18 to experience the renowned Toastmasters program. Toastmasters International, a global leader in communication and leadership training, has created this specialized club only for the middle and senior segment students of GIIS Noida.

At our Gavel Club, students will get to discover a supportive and encouraging environment where they can sharpen their speaking skills, boost confidence, and unlock their full potential. Regardless of whether natural-born orator or a shy introvert, the club will offer the students with a safe space for to grow and evolve.

What to expect from GIIS Noida’s Gavel Club meetings?

Prepared Speeches: Take the spotlight and deliver well-crafted speeches that are prepared in advance. Express ideas, share stories, and captivate the audience, all while mastering the art of communication. Each speech typically lasts between five and seven minutes, allowing participants to showcase their unique voice and style.

Evaluations: Receive valuable feedback from designated evaluators who help you identify your strengths and areas for improvement. Learn from their experience as they provide constructive criticism, enabling participants to grow and refine their speaking abilities.

Table Topics: Sharpening impromptu speaking skills by responding to spontaneous questions. Students will get to test their ability to think and communicate effectively, all while engaging in exciting and thought-provoking discussions.

The Gavel Club at GIIS Noida isn't just about personal growth; it's an opportunity to give back to the community. We believe in the power of service, and the club will offer excellent avenues for the students to make a positive impact through community projects and initiatives.

All the registered students will receive a certificate as a testament to their commitment and achievements at the end of the course by Toastmasters International.

We have already received tremendous interest and support, with over 65 students already enrolled in the club. The official launch is planned for the month of July, where we will kick off an incredible program tailored just for our students.
