Global Indian International School, Noida proudly showcased its creative talent at the INTACH FilmIt Festival 2026, a respected national platform that encourages students to explore India’s rich cultural and natural heritage through filmmaking. Organised by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), the festival motivates young learners to look beyond textbooks and engage deeply with India’s traditions, art forms, and history.
With enthusiasm and dedication, students of GIIS Noida took on the challenge of creating short films rooted in Indian culture. From brainstorming ideas to scripting, filming, and editing, the journey was filled with learning and teamwork. Their efforts were rewarded with prestigious honours — the Best Screenplay award for “Melodies of the Wooden Key”and the Best Script award for “Rajasthani Textile.” Both films impressed the judges with their authenticity and thoughtful storytelling, beautifully highlighting traditional Indian art forms.
The experience was more than just a competition. Students gained practical exposure to filmmaking, learning about scriptwriting, storyboarding, camera work, sound design, and editing. Along the way, they developed important skills such as collaboration, time management, and confident communication. Each step of the process strengthened their creativity and problem-solving abilities.
Participation in the INTACH FilmIt Festival 2026 was truly a memorable milestone for GIIS Noida. The awards reflect the students’ passion for storytelling and appreciation for India’s cultural heritage.
