Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida conducted a live session on its Facebook page in January 2019, to discuss various issues that have been mantling the health of today's youth; the school had invited a paediatrician and a pulmonologist to discuss the problems children are facing these days and provide appropriate remedies for the same.

The current health scenario in cities like Delhi NCR has deteriorated due to the bad air quality; this has resulted in causing innumerable health problems to people and especially to children below the age of 15 years. An informative session was organized by GIIS to address these problems and also to serve as a platform for parents to understand the causes and remedies to common issues like air pollution, flu, infections, kinds of vaccinations and its usage, etc. and also to ask queries related to their own child's health.

It was an interactive session where the doctors took up questions from the parents, they also discussed about some serious ailments and there possible solutions. One fundamental advice the invited experts gave was of treating common health problems at home before rushing to the doctors because they believed that some ailments can be handled by incorporating few basic ingredients from the kitchen.

It was an amazing opportunity for the parents, teachers and students of the school to clear up their doubts and find answers to various health problems and issues they face regularly.
