Appreciation and recognition are powerful motivators that not only boost performance and productivity but also foster morale, retention, and overall satisfaction. Both are among the most valued principles in life, and at GIIS, these values are deeply embedded in our culture of learning and growth.
To honour the hard work and achievements of our meritorious students, the Annual Award Ceremony for Grades 9 to 12 (2024–2025) was held on 8 September 2025 in the Multi-Purpose Hall. The momentous occasion brought together proud achievers and their peers to celebrate excellence in academics as well as co-curricular and co-scholastic domains.
The ceremony commenced on a graceful note, seeking the blessings of the Almighty through a soulful prayer, followed by a melodious welcome song by the school choir. The ambience was filled with excitement as the emcees, Arna Singh Yadav and Arna Krishnaut, introduced the first category of awards—the Scholar Awards, conferred upon students who secured more than 80% in the previous academic session.
The honours were presented by Principal Mr. Ganesh Sharma and Vice Principal Ms. Mrignayani Magotra, who pinned badges and handed certificates to the achievers. The ceremony then moved forward with the Class Topper Awards, followed by the Subject Topper Awards, celebrating those who excelled in specific disciplines. The most prestigious category, the Overall Toppers, recognised students who demonstrated consistent brilliance across all subjects.
GIIS is proud to nurture a large pool of talented and hardworking students, and the celebration extended beyond academics. Special awards were presented to students for their exceptional talents in co-curricular and co-scholastic activities. These included:
-
Best Orator Award
-
Best Singer Award
-
Best Instrumentalist Award
-
Best Dancer Award
-
Best Artist Award
-
All-Rounder Award
The constant encouragement and gracious presence of Principal Sir and Vice Principal Ma’am throughout the ceremony served as a source of immense motivation for the students, inspiring them to aim higher in the years to come.
The event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by the school leadership, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The ceremony was attended enthusiastically by students and teachers alike, making it a memorable day of recognition, pride, and inspiration.
