This result is extremely special for all of us at GIIS Noida because there was a lot of uncertainty, confusion, and anxiety among the students due to the cancellation of the final exams at the last moment. This cancellation caused a lot of distress for the students preparing day and night for their final board exams. We could sense the discomfort and confusion that our students had been experiencing, and also to some extent in the teachers as well who were equally involved with the students in preparing them for their finals.

Since Class X is an important milestone in a student’s educational journey, this year was exceptionally difficult for both the students and teachers to cope with the uncertainties caused by the ongoing pandemic scenarios. A lot of changes were introduced by CBSE in exam pattern and grading system that added to the stress at all stages, for all stakeholders. But with our robust teacher-parent support and encouragement, our students sailed through this tough phase smoothly. Our students displayed maturity, resilience, and optimism and didn’t lose hope, instead they kept doing their hard work and round of revisions with complete focus.

Commenting on the performance of his students, Mr. Ganesh Sharma - Principal GIIS, Noida said - “The current batch of Class Xth went through a year of changes, delays, and uncertainties. The students and teachers of GIIS took all these challenges in their stride and have come out shining. Our innovative teaching methodologies and consistent assessment pattern has paid off in terms of a laudable result. The criteria adopted by the authorities was extremely inclusive and ensured due representation of the knowledge and learning of the students. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our teachers and the parents for their consistent support, guidance, and encouragement. Class Xth is an important milestone and I extend my heartiest congratulations to the entire batch of 2020-21.”

Congratulations to all the toppers and the entire batch of 2020-21. A bigger congratulations to the parents and teachers who took the ongoing difficult scenario as a challenge and emerged as winners with flying colors. This victory too is certainly ours, achieved together.
