Aadvik Seth becomes GIIS Noida’s Olympiad champ; wins several international Olympiads

GIIS Noida is proud to announce that Advik Gupta of Grade 5 has done wonders by winning several medals and three international ranks in the various Olympiads. He stood 2nd in International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), and International English Olympiad (IEO) &amp; 3rd in International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO). He also acquired rank 9 in National Science Olympiad (ISO) and rank 13 in National Cyber Olympiad (NCO).

All these Olympiads were organized by SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) that aims at enhancing academic concepts by the means of competitions and also develop competitive abilities among them from early on.

Advik is a bright student and has been very keen on learning the concepts in depth. Upon asking him about his preparation, he shared &ndash; &ldquo;I started giving Olympiads from grade I. In the beginning, I found these exams a little difficult but next year with better preparation, I secured school ranks. Till this time, I have been preparing with books only but at the time of COVID my teachers introduced me to many digital platforms of learning. They really helped me a lot in preparing for the Olympiad exams. As practice is the key to secure a good rank, I improved my logical reasoning by playing Sudoku and solving puzzles. Securing international ranks and awards this year gave me immense joy and confidence.&rdquo;

His parents Mr. Ashish and Mrs. Meenakshi Gupta also shared their happiness with us - &ldquo;Olympiad exams are all about bringing the best out of children. They enhance problem solving ability, analytical thinking of students and test their aptitude as well. Aadvik is highly motivated towards learning new concepts. We feel happy and proud of his achievements in Olympiad this year. We are thankful to GIIS Noida team for nurturing him and really appreciate their efforts for providing quality education and moulding him towards the path of success.&rdquo;
