A Joyful Learning Experience for Young Minds at GIIS Noida

At GIIS Noida, every experience is designed to spark curiosity and confidence. Our CWSN (Children With Special Needs) Pre-Primary students recently experienced an enriching Integrated Learning Session, blending movement, creative play, and early academics. With fun gestures, games, and activities, every child discovered something new and felt confident to try more.

The session started with a main focus on gross motor skills, where activities such as wall climbing, ladder climbing, and directional movement games helped our students in improving their coordination, confidence and balancing skills. Through these activities, children learned to follow instructions, stay active and enjoy every moment in a safe and friendly space.

Along with gross motor skills, students also worked on strengthening their fine motor skills using therapy putty and other useful materials. This activity enhanced their hand-eye coordination and strengthened their hand muscles, which are essential for tasks like writing, drawing and handling everyday activities. The exercises were playful, allowing students to learn joyfully.

Early Phonics learning was also excitingly added to the session. Through songs, stories, and pictures, children learned the sounds and shapes of letters, starting with ‘A’. This interactive method made learning easy and enjoyable, helping children learn better and remember letters more easily.

The session was a perfect blend of physical activities and early academics, where every child felt supported and encouraged to learn at their own pace. Activities like these show how GIIS Noida cares for its students and supports their overall growth while they enjoy learning.
