Children of Kindergarten -1, learnt to construct different structures using marshmallows and toothpicks. They used their critical thinking to construct various shaped structures and blocks. They made triangles, rectangles, hexagons, squares and various free standing  structures.

It was an interesting activity for the children as they used their imagination to build various shapes – like the Burj Khalifa and other 3D shapes.

It gave them an opportunity to learn and consolidate their understanding about shapes. This activity, held in May 2018, helped the students to strengthen their hand muscles up and also helped develop their fine motor skills, creativity and encouraged exploration of shapes.
