While Mr. Narendra Modi met Rio Olympic Champions and felicitate them with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award for their exceptional performance at the games, Global Indian International School Noida celebrated the spirit of National Sports Day with lots of indoor and outdoor activities in the school premises.

Beginning with the celebrations, sport engagement activities were planned for the parents. Huge turnout was witnessed as parents joyfully came forward to play and celebrate the spirit of sports in life.

As the day started, parents poured in for registration with full enthusiasm to play the sports of their choice. Children accompanied their parents and encouraged them to participate and play like true sportsmen. This made the celebrations more prominent and cheerful for everyone to witness. Each parent played various games of Badminton, Kho-Kho, Chess, and Basket Ball like a pro, paving their way through several rounds. Winners from each game were shortlisted and honored with gold, silver and bronze medals for their outstanding play.
