In GIIS Dubai, The Net Zero Project is a research oriented project by students which aims reducing carbon footprint from the school by absorbing the carbon dioxide gas using Olivine GIIS Air purifier and preparing carbon ink from the residue.
An innovative strategy to combat carbon emission level in the environment The project addresses concerns regarding Increasing carbon emissions which affects the environment in various ways like Global warming, releasing greenhouse gases, totally affecting the ecosystem. This project was the continuation of the ongoing previous year’s Quality circle project- ‘Saving electricity and water in our School’. The existing solutions along with the current solutions were implemented.
The project revolves around three primary solutions to achieve a sustainable reduction in our carbon footprint:
One standout feature of the Net Zero Project is that it provides round-the-clock protection against pollutants without consuming any power. This sets it apart from traditional air purifiers, which often rely on electricity for their operation. In this way, the project not only addresses environmental concerns but also promotes energy efficiency.
Through innovative technologies and eco-conscious practices, we aim to make a positive impact on the environment while setting an example for others to follow.
