The multi-purpose hall was filled with excited chatter and anticipation as GIIS Dubai held the semi-finals of the singing competition, The Global Indian Stars. The event provided the budding vocalists with an opportunity to display their musical talents and captivate the audience with their powerful performances.

The day commenced with a flurry of excitement as a total of 16 performers took the stage one by one. The atmosphere was electric as the superstar singers confidently belted out popular hits and timeless classics in different languages, leaving the crowd in awe. From soulful ballads to foot-tapping numbers, the range of genres showed the diverse musical interests and abilities of the singing superstars. 

The panel of external judges of Mr. Sunil Pillai and Ms. Amrita Kayarat brought their expertise and experience to the event and selected the 8 finalists who will be competing against each other and the winner will represent GIIS Dubai in the Global Indian Stars musical competition that will be virtually hosted by GIIS, Singapore. 

The competition not only highlighted the students' musical abilities but also served as a reminder of the power of music to unite and inspire. The event concluded with thunderous applause and a sense of anticipation for the next year's competition, promising even greater melodies and unforgettable performances.
