Leadership and entrepreneurship programme at GIIS Dubai

The world is witnessing unprecedented changes. Technology, societies and the environment we lived in even a few years back are evolving fast. We at Global Indian International school feel that students should develop leadership and social entreprenuership skills from a very early age as young as 5 or 6 years. It equips students to seek out problem-solving opportunities, empathize with others, think creatively, take risks, accept failure as part of the growth process, and appreciate the correlation between hard work and success.

Leadership and entrepreneurship programme have been launched from Grade 1 onwards. Students engage in various activities and they thoroughly enjoy the lessons. This initiative taken by GIIS Dubai  has received a highly encouraging response from parents and they feel entrepreneurship and leadership skills are important to cultivate in a student for an all-round holistic education. The programme will be reviewed from time to time to make increase its effectiveness and value addition for students.

We at GIIS believe that “Schools should provide an all-inclusive curriculum that opens the panoramic vistas of the outer world by inculcating values through holistic education. Development of skills and honing them in the right direction should be undertaken at the school level. This will build focus among students to choose the right career that suits their personalities and matching skill sets.

I would like to appreciate GIIS Dubai for including Leadership and Entrepreneurship as a Subject. Specially in this pandemic year we as adults and children have experienced huge anxiety and confusion over the  future.  This Subject will help children not only adapt to a newer world but also upskill themselves in this time. A good leader can be a good Entrepreneur. Working on leadership qualities can make them Ready for future challenges and to handle themselves according to the situation.  Thanks ..

It's good to introduce entrepreneur skills and leadership skills to students at young age.

Academic skills and leadership and entrepreneurial skills should go hand in hand like thoery and practical practice in science.I appreciate it.
