DUBAI, 21st Feb, 2019:

GIIS Dubai took the opportunity to create awareness about the K9 squad by inviting them for ‘The Athleta ‘ the Sports meet for the Kindergarten. At GIIS Dubai we believe in the Gandhian philosophy. He once said the greatness of a nation is judged by the way its animals are treated 

From sniffing out explosives to searching for dead bodies these dogs have been used in criminal investigations for centuries,” said Lt Col Abdel Salam Al Shamsi, director of Dubai police canine unit.

The K-9 team put up an amazing show, where the dogs demonstrated how they could chase an offender. They even has a small competition between the dog and KG students - where they had to burst balloons, the dog won.

Our Kindergartners were explained that how animals can be a mans’ best  friend and their senses can be far more alert than ours .

The children and parents enjoyed the show and grasped the message that we should take care of animals.

The show created awareness about the UAE /Dubai police . It surely will have a lasting impression on the young minds.
