Indian Independence Day as we all know is annually celebrated on the 15th of August. GIIS Dubai came together virtually to mark this day through a virtual celebration by students and teachers. Grade 2 students came together virtually and prepared a video montage that captured their emotions for this very special day. They dressed in outfits which complemented the national flag colors. We got to see expressive and energetic dancers showcasing their talent. There were also orators in the group presenting poetic renditions about this very special day. The parents had a huge role to play in this endeavor and their hard work and creativity was evident. National pride is dear to all but when the young students remind us about it then as a school it is reassuring that we are instilling the right values and culture at the right stage.
