This is how we wash our hands, to keep them neat and clean.’’

Washing hands is an important life skill that the young children need to know. The Pre-kg of GIIS, Dubai taught their children why it is important to wash our hands, when and how to wash them. The children were shown various techniques and time span for washing hands. The event took place with first- hand experience. The teachers demonstrated how the germs are scared of soap using a bowl of dirty water and liquid soap. They made the children understand that, by dipping the hand rubbed with soap in dirty water. As soon as the students did this, the dirt displaced and they all learnt - How the germs ran away.

 This event not just taught the children about hand wash but also endorsed the concept of personal hygiene and health. With the current pandemic situation a simple, yet a powerful event like this helped the children learn about caring for themselves.
