Dubai Knowledge Park recently hosted the 23rd cycle of the Interschool Environmental Public Speaking Competition, showcasing the remarkable talents and environmental consciousness of young students. The event witnessed participation of Grade 10 and Grade 12 students of GIIS Dubai who delivered powerful speeches on critical environmental issues. 

Grade 10 students exhibited their knowledge and concern about the pressing issue of freshwater depletion. With a topic focused on "Dwindling Lakes, Diminishing Rivers: Addressing Fresh Water Depletion," these young speakers enlightened the audience with their comprehensive understanding of the subject. 

Grade 12 students took the stage with their topic, "Reaching Earth's Threshold - Our Response to the Tipping Point," focusing on the critical state of our planet and the need for urgent action. Their speeches resonated with the audience as they explored the impacts of climate change, deforestation, and pollution on Earth's delicate balance. 

The outstanding performances of both Grade 10 and Grade 12 students in the Interschool Environmental Public Speaking Competition earned them well-deserved recognition. Despite fierce competition, the Grade 10 students secured the third position.

The event highlighted the importance of youth engagement and demonstrated the potential for young minds to contribute meaningfully to environmental conversations.
