On 24th of May, Dubai International Art Centre conducted free virtual art and craft sessions for GIIS students. Among the sessions, clay modeling was introduced to our students. The touch and feel of clay has a naturally relaxing quality to it. Unlike painting and drawing, clay helps children understand the three dimensional aspect of this world. Steps were shown on how to create clay animals. They rolled, flattened, pinched, tapped, etc that not only helped develop fine motor skills but also helped them understand the concept of 3D shapes.
