Students showcase culinary creativity with flameless cooking

Tiny tastemakers unlocked their inner chef embracing innovative techniques in cooking from vibrant salads and crave-worthy snacks to indulgent desserts.

In the savoury canteen of GIIS on 28 February 2024, little master chefs ditched traditional and hygienic cooking methods for a flameless, flavour-packed culinary adventure.

It's more than just mastering recipes; it's a dynamic team-building experience where students collaborate, get creative, and forge bonds over fresh ingredients and boundless enthusiasm.

In this hands-on experience, students bond and showcase their talents through flameless cooking challenges. As dishes take shape, pride fills the air, celebrating teamwork and creativity.

With an array of fresh ingredients and a touch of ingenuity, our tastemakers whipped up culinary masterpieces that tantalize the taste buds and leave our judges in awe.

Ms Nuengruethai Kularbwong, Ms Asha Paul, and Tr. Cyril Rodrigues judged teams on ingredients, procedures, and health benefits. The enthusiastic kids answered questions well. Chrysanthemum House won, with Hibiscus House as the runner-up. Sunflower and Orchid tied for third. Judges and management praised the winners.
