A Joyful Day Out for Our Nursery Learners at GIIS Bannerghatta

“Play is the highest form of research.” - Albert Einstein

This thought perfectly reflects the spirit of our nursery students’ joyful field trip to Jawaharlal Nehru Bal Bhavan. Smiles, laughter, and excitement filled the day as the little learners from GIIS Bannerghatta stepped out of their classrooms to explore a new environment with their friends and teachers.

Surrounded by open spaces and greenery, the children enjoyed the refreshing outdoor atmosphere. As they walked around the park, they eagerly noticed the tall trees, colourful play areas, and lively surroundings. The new environment encouraged curiosity as the children looked around with wonder and excitement. They spent happy moments talking, playing, and sharing the experience with their classmates, which helped them feel connected with one another.

The highlight of the visit was the much-loved toy train ride. As the train gently moved along the tracks, the children waved with excitement and enjoyed looking around the park. Their cheerful laughter and bright smiles made the ride a delightful experience for everyone. It was a simple yet memorable moment that brought great joy to the little learners.

Throughout the trip, the teachers guided the children carefully and ensured that everyone remained safe and comfortable. The students followed instructions well, stayed together in their groups, and participated enthusiastically in the activities. The outing also helped them practise important social skills such as sharing space, waiting for their turn, and enjoying activities together.

Spending time outdoors allowed the children to observe their surroundings, interact with their peers, and build confidence in a new setting. Experiences like these will support children’s social and emotional development while encouraging curiosity and independence.

The day ended with many happy memories, making the field trip a delightful experience that our nursery students will cherish for a long time.
