GIIS Tokyo Cambridge IGCSE 2026 Results Show Strong 76% School Average
 

We are delighted to share the Cambridge IGCSE Grade 10 examination results for the June 2026 cohort, announced today, Tuesday, 18 August 2026.

This year, our students have once again demonstrated exceptional commitment, perseverance, and academic excellence:

The cohort achieved an impressive school average of 76%

These results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the continued encouragement and support of our parents.
 

Congratulating Our Highest-Performing Students

We are especially proud to congratulate our highest-performing students:

  • Naotaro Takizawa topped the cohort with an outstanding 98%, achieving A* in all 6 subjects.
  • Seshaanth Senthil Kumar followed with 96%, achieving A* in all 6 subjects.
  • Mohammad Amin Ul Alam Joarder secured third place with 94%, achieving A* in all 7 subjects.
     

Other Outstanding Performances

  • Akashi Luca: 6 A* and 1 A
  • Sheesh Abedin & Koh Umeyama: 5 A* and 1 A
  • Tanish Deshpande & Jayakody Arachchilage Chethumi Linethma Jayakody: 3 A* and 3 A

In addition, Naotaro Takizawa achieved a remarkable 100% (A*) in Extended Mathematics, while Seshaanth Senthil Kumar scored 97% (A*) and Yuki Matsubara earned an impressive 95% (A*) in Additional Mathematics.
 

Strong Performance Across Subjects

The cohort also demonstrated strong academic performance across a range of disciplines. Several subjects recorded particularly strong school averages, including Global Perspectives, Foreign Language French, First Language English, Biology and Additional Mathematics.

The highest subject averages included:

  • Global Perspectives: 89%
  • Foreign Language French: 85%
  • First Language English: 82%
  • History: 81%
  • Biology: 80%

Behind every percentage and every grade is a student who worked hard, persevered through challenges and continued to grow. We are proud not only of our highest achievers, but of every student in the cohort for their individual journey and accomplishments.
