Students participate, excel at co-curricular activities

GIIS Bannerghatta

Students of Grades 1 to 6 participated with enthusiasm in various co-curricular activities (CCA) in the school this academic year. The CCA is an integral part of students' holistic education, helping them discover their interests and talents, and helping in their overall development.

The students participated in many activities, making presentations in various categories, like the Debate Club, Art of Beading, Music, Model United Nations, Dance, Explorers Club, Home Décor, Cooking without fire, Pi Math, Green Club, Zumba etc. These non-academic activities not only boost their health and well-being, but also enhance their social moral and aesthetic senses.

Students from GIIS Queenstown benefitted from the encouragement and advice of teachers and peers, which allowed them to explore their strengths and get themselves organized.

Parents expressed pride to see their children participating in these activities without fear. They were also impressed with their children for their complete involvement in the events, their command over modes of communication like PowerPoint presentations, informative charts and display features.
