As the academic year comes to a close, the Pre-Primary students of Global Indian International School (GIIS), Smart Campus Hadapsar celebrated their achievement, and the bond they had forged with their peers and teachers, though virtually, in the gone by year. Teachers planned this special day in a different way to mark the end of this virtual year of the teaching and learning process on March 15th, 2021.  

The celebration started with cake-making activities, which they termed as “No Bake Cake”. The young culinary MasterChef’s also loved making the cake by themselves, using simple ingredients available at their home, and with little help from their parents. It’s a known fact that good food is an essential part of any celebration. Therefore, the cake made by the students was laid down and sweet delights were offered to their loved ones. It was a delight to see how everyone enjoyed it.

Apart from this, teachers had also planned some fun-learning game sessions for the little munchkins. It was quite wonderful to witness their prompt and quick replies based on their curriculum and syllabus questions. The students of (KG2) actively participated in an activity where they were given an opportunity to express their feelings and excitement for the new session they will be going to start soon.

The young enthusiastic students were seen as highly emotional on the last day of their academic session. And at the same time, they were eagerly waiting to embark on a new journey into Grade 1. A flood of emotion over swept students - There were cries of laughter, tears of leaving behind friends, and excitement of the new journey.

With that note, yet another glorious year came to an end with a promise of new beginnings for little GIISians.
