The month of May was a time for everyone to relax, recharge, and prepare for the start of a new academic session at GIIS Hadapsar. After a busy and eventful April, the summer break provided a welcome opportunity for students, teachers, and families to spend quality time together and return refreshed for the year ahead.

Before the summer vacation commenced, the GMP segment celebrated Safety Week, engaging our young learners through fun-filled activities, stories, and role-plays that helped them understand safety at home, at school, and on the road. From learning traffic rules to understanding 'Stranger Danger', children acquired essential life skills in an interactive and enjoyable manner. A special highlight was their visit to the Amanora Fire Station, where they witnessed real-life safety practices firsthand. Guided by the simple mantra, 'ABC – Always Be Careful', our little ones are steadily growing into responsible and safety-conscious citizens.

We also celebrated an exciting Literary Week, filled with creativity, storytelling, and language-based activities. From minimalist book cover designs and character dress-up sessions to engaging storytelling activities and the thrilling Spell Bee Competition, students showcased their imagination, confidence, and love for words. The week served as a wonderful celebration of creativity, communication, and the joy of learning through literature.

As we step into June, the focus shifts to a new phase of learning and engagement, with a host of exciting activities planned for our students. These include a Phonics Workshop for Parents, Pretend Play activities, and our regular monthly events. We will also celebrate World Environment Day and International Yoga Day through a variety of meaningful and enriching activities designed to inspire awareness, well-being, and responsible citizenship.
