The Kindergarten segment at GIIS Hadapsar celebrated Innovation Week with great enthusiasm, engaging young learners in a series of thoughtfully designed activities that fostered creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The week-long celebration provided students with opportunities to explore, experiment, and express their ideas through hands-on learning experiences.

The celebrations commenced with Nature's Painting, where children created colourful artworks using leaves, flowers, and other natural materials. The activity encouraged them to appreciate the beauty of nature while nurturing their artistic expression and creativity.

Adding a fun twist to literacy learning, students participated in Human Letter Formation, using their bodies to create different alphabet letters. The interactive activity made letter recognition enjoyable while promoting teamwork, coordination, and active participation.

The excitement continued with the Giant Fruit Graph on the Floor, where children sorted and represented their favourite fruits on a large floor graph. Through this engaging exercise, students were introduced to foundational mathematical concepts such as counting, comparing quantities, and interpreting simple data in an interactive manner.

Another highlight of the week was Shadow Detective of Animals, where children identified and matched animal shadows, strengthening their observation skills, logical thinking, and ability to recognise patterns.

The celebrations concluded with Curious Minds, an imaginative activity in which students transformed different shapes into unique drawings using their creativity and problem-solving abilities. The exercise encouraged every child to think independently, explore new ideas, and express their imagination with confidence.

Innovation Week at GIIS Hadapsar successfully created an inspiring environment where learning extended beyond the classroom through meaningful, experiential activities.
