Global Indian International School (GIIS) Hadapsar has inaugurated a newly developed Play Gym Area and Pretend Play Area in its Global Montessori Plus (GMP) section, reinforcing its commitment to providing young learners with an engaging environment that promotes learning through play.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Ms Beena Vijay, Franchise Owner and Principal of Kidzee, and Vaishali Borde, National Head, Co-Scholastic and Pre-Primary, GIIS. The event began with a ceremonial inauguration, followed by an exploration of the newly created spaces.
The Play Gym Area has been designed to encourage physical activity and help children develop gross motor skills through activities involving movement, climbing, balancing and exploration. The Pretend Play Area, meanwhile, offers children an opportunity to engage in imaginative play, role-playing and creative expression while developing essential skills such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving and social interaction.
The young learners enthusiastically explored the new facilities and participated in various activities. Their excitement and curiosity brought the spaces to life, making the inauguration a memorable experience for the children and the school community.
The newly developed areas are designed to support holistic child development by integrating physical activity, imagination, creativity and social learning into everyday experiences. They also provide children with the freedom to explore, experiment and learn at their own pace in a stimulating and child-friendly environment.
The addition of these facilities marks another step in GIIS Hadapsar's efforts to create enriching preschool learning spaces where children can develop essential life skills through meaningful and joyful experiences.
