GIIS Hadapsar recently celebrated National Siblings Day with a heartwarming and creative card-making activity for students of Grades 3, 4, and 5, aimed at honouring the special bond shared between brothers and sisters.
National Siblings Day is observed to celebrate the love, support, and unique relationship between siblings. Keeping this spirit alive, the school organised a Siblings Day Card Making Activity where students enthusiastically participated by creating beautiful cards and collages dedicated to their siblings.
The objective of the activity was to help students express their love and appreciation for their brothers and sisters in a meaningful and creative way. Using simple materials such as A4 sheets, pencils, and colours, students designed personalised cards by drawing pictures with their siblings and writing four to five heartfelt lines appreciating them.
The children further enhanced their creations with colourful decorations, stickers, and imaginative designs, making each card unique and special. Their enthusiasm and creativity were clearly visible throughout the activity, turning the event into a joyful and memorable experience.
The activity not only encouraged artistic expression but also helped strengthen emotional bonding among family members. It also contributed to the development of creativity, communication, and expression skills among students.
The celebration was a wonderful reminder of the importance of sibling relationships and left students with happy memories and a deeper sense of gratitude for their siblings.
