GIIS Hadapsar organised an Intra-House Poster Making Competition for students of Grades 3 to 5, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents and creativity around the festive theme of ‘Ganesh Chaturthi – Celebrating Bappa’. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation as young artists brought their imagination to life through colours, innovative designs and beautiful depictions of Lord Ganesha.

The activity was aligned with the school’s Nine Gems holistic learning framework, particularly its core values of Innovation & Creativity and Visual & Performing Arts. Students independently conceptualised and designed their posters, experimenting with different colours, textures and artistic elements. The activity encouraged them to think creatively, express their ideas freely and develop confidence in their artistic abilities.

The classrooms were filled with festive enthusiasm as students immersed themselves in the creative process. Beyond artistic expression, the competition provided a hands-on learning experience that fostered independent thinking, decision-making and attention to detail. The completed posters showcased the students’ originality and artistic flair, transforming the display boards into a colourful gallery celebrating devotion, creativity and talent.

To recognise their efforts and dedication, three winners were selected from each class based on creativity, originality and neatness. The competition concluded on a joyful note, celebrating the students’ artistic achievements while reinforcing the importance of creativity, self-expression and experiential learning.
