GIIS SMART Campus IBDP Year 2 student Srishti Hariharan has  secured First Place in the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) Best Application of Project Management Award at the JA Asia Pacific Company of the Year Competition 2026, held in Seoul, Korea, from 9 to 12 March 2026.

The competition brought together students from across the Asia Pacific region, providing a platform for young entrepreneurs and future leaders to showcase innovation, teamwork, leadership, and business acumen on an international stage.

Representing Singapore, Srishti led a diverse team comprising students from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Pakistan. Throughout the competition, she demonstrated strong project management, leadership, and collaboration skills while effectively coordinating across different perspectives and working styles within the international team.

The PMIEF Best Application of Project Management Award recognises outstanding execution in planning, communication, organisation, teamwork, and strategic implementation during the competition process. Srishti’s achievement highlights her ability to lead with confidence while navigating complex collaborative environments at a global level.

The achievement reflects the GIIS 9 Gems framework, which encourages students to excel beyond academics through entrepreneurship, leadership, creativity, universal values, and community connect. Through a wide range of co-curricular and experiential learning opportunities, GIIS continues to support students in developing into confident and well-rounded global citizens.

The accomplishment also highlights the school’s longstanding collaboration with JA Worldwide, an organisation nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the fifth consecutive year for its contribution towards youth development and entrepreneurship education globally. Through this partnership, GIIS students continue to participate in international platforms that promote innovation, leadership, and experiential learning.

Srishti Hariharan’s achievement adds to the growing list of accomplishments by GIIS SMART Campus students on global platforms and reflects the school’s continued focus on holistic education and student excellence.
