February was filled with vibrant celebrations and enriching activities at GIIS Nagpur

Dear Parents,

As February unfolded, it brought with it a wave of vibrant celebrations and enriching activities at Global Indian International School (GIIS), Lawa Nagpur. Here's an overview of the exciting events that took place throughout the month:

At the middle of the month, on February 15th, we kicked off with a burst of colour during our Pink Colour Day Celebration. Our young learners immersed themselves in a world of pink, participating in various engaging activities such as Show and Tell, arts and crafts, and fun games. The day not only celebrated the colour pink but also fostered an appreciation for its characteristics in a playful and enjoyable manner.

On February 17th, our students Tanuja and Aarav Goel participated in the Inter-GIIS Global Virtual Connect programme – the GMP Show and Tell Competition for KG1 students. Centered around the theme of "Indian Indigenous Games," this event celebrated the rich cultural heritage of our nation. We witnessed enthusiastic participation, and it was a moment of pride to see Tanuja emerge as the winner, showcasing our students' talent and cultural understanding.

From February 21st to the 24th, GIIS, Nagpur, buzzed with excitement during our STEM Week Celebration. Grade-wise STEM activities were conducted in our dedicated STEM lab, engaging students from Grade 1 to Grade 6. The highlight of the week was an informative session about STEM during the assembly on February 23rd, followed by an engaging quiz on STEM activities on February 24th. It was heartening to witness our students actively participating and showcasing their knowledge.

In continuation of our active participation, on February 23rd, GIIS, Noida, extended a warm invitation to our students for another Inter-GIIS Global Virtual Connect programme – the Inter-Campus GIIS Quiz Competition. Representing our school, Hetarth Rathi and Zainab Holawala from KG2 participated enthusiastically, with Zainab securing the second position. It was a proud moment for our school community as our students demonstrated their intellect and knowledge on a broader platform.

As we reflect on the events of February, we're filled with gratitude for the active participation and enthusiasm displayed by our students. We look forward to more enriching experiences in the upcoming months.

Warm regards,
