On February 7, 2025, the GIIS East Coast Campus was abuzz with excitement as it hosted the eagerly awaited HiQ Quiz, an inter-school competition designed for primary school students in Grades 1 and 2. The event brought together bright young minds from four prestigious schools—GIIS East Coast Campus, GIIS SMART Campus, NPS International, and Yuvabharathi International—creating a vibrant atmosphere of learning, teamwork, and friendly competition.

The event was graced by Guest of Honour, Ms. Richa Dinesh Sharma, a poet, artist, and editor based in Singapore, whose work has captivated audiences worldwide. Her presence added a touch of inspiration, encouraging young participants to embrace curiosity, language, and creativity.

The competition featured six engaging and well-crafted rounds—Nature Explorers, Math Marvels, Fun Food Fiesta, Rhyme and Rhythm, Letter League, and the Lightning Quiz. Each round challenged students to think critically, respond swiftly, and showcase their knowledge across various subjects. Their enthusiasm, quick thinking, and confidence left the audience in awe.

GIIS East Coast Campus was represented by two spirited teams—one from the CBSE curriculum and the other from the PYP programme. Competing with determination and skill, both teams displayed exceptional teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Their efforts were rewarded as the East Coast team emerged victorious, proudly claiming the championship title.

The HiQ Quiz 2025 was a resounding success, not just for its competitive edge but for fostering a love for learning and collaboration among young minds.
