“Teaching kids how to handle money is about more than dollars and cents. It’s about character and responsibility.”

To educate the young minds of GIIS about &ldquo; Financial Literacy&rdquo; - the ability to understand how money works. We had our special guest Mr. Sanjeev Tyagi father of Ameli Tyagi from grade 5, a seasoned and deeply committed business leader having over 20 years of experience in cards and payments, transaction banking, e-Commerce, CRM &amp; digital marketing with proven capabilities to manage end to end business. He had worked in multi-cultural environments in India, Singapore and the Middle East.&nbsp; He is an avid reader with diverse interests in technology and payments to help businesses derive true value using latest technology tools.

It was an enlightening and informative talk which has indeed been of much knowledge to us. His address set the tone of the session&nbsp; by clearly indicating &nbsp;us about how banking is very simple and safe. He also spoke about the &nbsp;innovation in payments, design element of visa card, types of cards and their functions. Students were curious and had many questions which were answered effectively by Mr.Tyagi.

Our students are tomorrow&rsquo;s leaders.&nbsp; We cannot expect them to make good decisions when faced with the extremely important and complex financial issues to come, without the proper financial education and preparation. By&nbsp;teaching our kids about money, we help them discover the relationships of earning to spending and saving. In doing this, kids begin to understand the value of money.&nbsp;
