DUBAI, APRIL 22: Students of KG 1 marched into their classrooms with their colourful costumes, fancy hair and cute make-up as the campus observed a day to celebrate the children's favourite book characters.
Students dressed as Spiderman, Snow White, Batman, Red Riding Hood, fairies and kings had a ball on the day, choosing to dress up as their favourite superhero or fantasy character from books they have read.
Children spoke about their avatars and why they chose to dress up in that particular outfit. The entire event was part of a fun activity associated with positive body image and personality development of Global Indian International School's holistic framework of education.
The most satisfying part was the fact that children said they enjoyed reading books, teachers said.
