Children enjoyed making family pictures frames and decorating them. They also introduced their family members to their friends from the photographs during the ‘Show and Tell activity’.

Each child came forward and showed their photo frames and spoke few lines about their family as we started to probe questions like: Who’s in this picture? And what do they do? And how do you spend time with them? Etc.,

By learning about families, students will begin to understand their place in groups, communities and the world. A sense of belonging, the need of love and to be loved is inculcated through this activity. The fine motor skills and creativity is developed while making beautiful frames through ice cream sticks and glitter, this along with the family theme created an impact on their social and emotional skills.
