Dr. Shivananda C S (Principal, GIIS Whitefield), Ms. Aracha Sinha (Academic Coordinator, GIIS Whitefield) and Mr. Saroj Pradhan (Admin Manager, GIIS Whitefield) were present at the ceremony to receive the prestigious Award.  It was a moment where the entire team represented all the hard work of teachers, staff, students and parents towards providing the holistic learning to every student.

Dr. Shivananda C S shared his insight upon receiving the award where he believed that the award spotlights on the fact that GIIS 9 GEMS model of education has offered a dynamic framework aimed at fostering all-round character development in students through an integrated, holistic approach to learning. The use of both eastern and western educational techniques makes the Nine GEMS model unique and helps in taking the value-based learning beyond academics.  The new initiatives included in the curriculum are based on the holistic approach for developing and sharpening sporting skills of students to promote mental and physical growth.  He thanked the management for the continuous support and motivation. He also took the opportunity to appreciate all the teachers - whose hard work, creative ideas and passion to implement the best teaching practices has helped pave the right path for every GIISian to become a global citizen.
