Udaan is the flight of confidence, courage, learning, and dreams of our children. The Annual Day for Primary segment was full of exuberance, happiness, and enthusiasm, and the performances were meant to create beautiful memories for students and parents to cherish for a long time.

Udaan, the special virtual Annual Day was one of the magnanimous celebrations of talent for the year for Grade 1-5. It was the most special Annual Day to be witnessed by all grades via Zoom and by thousands of viewers through Facebook LIVE. With words of motivation and appreciation for all students and teachers pouring in from the revered Chief Guest Ms. Sunita Jaisingh (National Academic Head, GIIS India) and by the Guest of Honour Mr. Parshvadeep Singh Rao (Associate Director- Operations, GIIS Pune & Bangalore). Mr. Ashwani Kumar Saxena (Principal, GIIS Whitefield) shared his joy with regard to the amazing year of academic excellence that brought in many accolades and recognition to GIIS and Ms. Jeelu Mary Varghese (Academic Coordinator) shared a galore of happy accolades won by students and teachers bring fame to GIIS Whitefield as the best educational school making use of world-class teaching methodologies.

The spirit of Udaan was seen in every performance. The Dance teacher Ms.Kalavathi gave a graceful performance to start the magical fiesta. There was a scintillating welcome dance by the students. There were different performances across all the grades. The Choir group songs were soothing and brought perfect sync in rendition to the virtual audience. Instrumental music by students made them seem like a professional. The much amusing Magic Tricks was loved by all. There was an amazing skit showcasing what Gandhiji would have seen if he were to come alive again. Among the other commendable showcases were mimes, foot-tapping Bollywood dance forms, energetic Bangra dances, and many more surprises that made Udaan a huge success. There ought to be a special mention to all the teachers and students for anchoring the entire programme with great enthusiasm and lively spirit. It was a memorable and wonderful Annual Day through the virtual medium, with a theme as big as Udaan and the team comprising of students, teachers, and parents joining hands to help students bring out their best talent.
