Smart young minds learned new concepts the innovative way

"Creativity is thinking up new things. Innovation is doing new things."

The small wonders of Global Indian International School explored the world of innovation through their virtual classes. The innovative activities planned by the teachers were based on the theme - 'STEAM'. It cultivated their individual interests and talents. The objective was to promote their creativity, innovative thinking, and exploration. It also enhanced their thinking skills, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and communication.

On the First Day, the interesting fun activities were meant to help the kids understand Science and observe the concepts and logic behind these experiments. The nursery kids did the Swirling Milk science experiment. KG1 and KG2 students did the Baking soda and Vinegar Volcano experiment.  The innovative ideas were around technology on Day 2 wherein students did a Sorting matrix, The students of KG1 liked the sequencing of cards, and KG2 focused on 'decode the message' activity. The engineering (virtual exhibit) on day 3 made them very curious. The Nursery kids took the 'building the bridge' challenge. At the same time, KG1 and KG2 were excited to take up the toy-making challenge. On day 4, the creative activities were focused on Math concepts. Nursery children made many shapes with crayons while KG1 and KG2 did the puzzle-solving activity. Finally on day 5, the cute cherubs of all the levels had fun while doing string art.

The innovation week was perfectly planned to give the children a glimpse into different subjects that enumerated the scope and reach of innovation to help in generating the best solutions, results, and artistic marvels.
