Dear Parents, Students, and Members of the GIIS Whitefield Community,
November has been a month of celebration, achievement, and togetherness at GIIS Whitefield. It brought with it a vibrant mix of cultural pride, joyful bonding, and inspiring accomplishments by our students.
We opened the month with the spirited celebration of Kannada Rajyotsava, where our learners immersed themselves in the rich heritage and traditions of Karnataka. The colours, performances, and cultural expressions showcased not only talent but also a deep respect for the diversity that enriches our school environment.
Our campus then came alive with the excitement of Sports Day, a true festival of sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination. The enthusiasm displayed by our students on the field was a powerful reminder that sports build character as much as they build skill.
Children’s Day brought its own charm — a day filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments. Across all segments, students celebrated the essence of childhood with activities that highlighted their creativity, energy, and boundless imagination.
One of the month’s most cherished gatherings was the CIE Family Day, an event that brought together parents, students, and teachers in a spirit of unity and celebration. The warmth of our families added a special sparkle to the day, reaffirming that learning thrives best in a strong and supportive community.
We also take immense pride in celebrating two remarkable student achievements this month.
Deetya brought great honour to the school by securing three Gold Medals at the State Mini Olympics in Gymnastics, a testament to her dedication and discipline.
Shubh Chowdhary made his mark on the global stage by winning a Bronze Medal at the FEI World Championship, an extraordinary accomplishment that inspires our entire student body.
As we bid farewell to an eventful November, we also look ahead with great excitement. December promises to be an enriching and festive month with the Career Fair, RWCC, the Band-It Finals, and the much-awaited Winter Carnival. We look forward to celebrating learning, talent, and community spirit through these upcoming events.
Warm regards,
Madhu Khanna
