GIIS Whitefield recently celebrated Annual Prize Day across two wonderful days, recognising the achievements of students from Grades 2 to 12. Parents were invited to join in and witness these special moments. The festivities began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, marking the start of an event filled with pride and joy.

On the first day, dedicated to Grades 2 to  6, the ceremony featured an inspiring address from Ms. Srishti Bajaj, Director of the Alliance School of Design & Creative Arts. Her speech provided valuable insights and motivation, setting a positive tone for the young students and their families.

The second day focused on students from Grades 6 to 12 and was marked by an address from Professor Umesh S. Mahtan. He is an experienced professional with over three decades of expertise in finance, accounting, offshore industry connections, and academia. His words highlighted the significance of academic and personal growth, resonating with both students and attendees.

Throughout both days, Dr. N. Nagarajan, the National Academic Head, delivered engaging speeches that highlighted the importance of education and perseverance. His addresses added a thoughtful dimension to the celebrations, reflecting on the achievements of the students and the school’s commitment to excellence.

Principal Manoj Kumar Tiwari addressed the stage and appreciated the students for their hard work and dedication throughout the academic year. He highlighted the importance of perseverance and encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence in all their endeavours. 

The prize-giving events were complemented by delightful performances from the students. The school choir captivated the audience with their harmonious singing, while the group dance routines showcased the dynamic talents of the students. These performances were met with enthusiastic applause, celebrating the diverse skills and creativity within the school community.
