With the vision of nurturing students into individuals who will be leaders of distinction, committed to the spirit of excellence through high-quality education; GIIS always lays great emphasis on extracurricular activities to instill real-world skills into the students. Apart from academics, our curricula encompass the learning routine of many other disciplines that open numerous doors for students and fuel their unique dreams leveraging their talents and skills. Learning is illimitable, it has no bound and needs to be expanded in each and every field. We at GIIS, make sure that all our programs, policies, actions, steps, and decisions reflect the same.

Carrying out ECA and CCA activities for all segments is a major part of our model where we try to imbue a sense of camaraderie, brotherhood, and healthy competition in students. These activities focus on opening the young minds to a zillion opportunities present out there. We ensure that the activities organized under the CCAs touch upon every field a student might be interested in and are appealing enough to attract a lot of participation from different segments. 

We have formed multiple clubs to bring students with similar talents and interests together and engage them in the interactive learning process. To foster the spirit of healthy competition, self-confidence, and passion, we also carry out multitudinous competitions and contests on our campus regularly, often in collaboration with international campuses as well.

Under the recent CCA Presentations organized at GIIS Whitefield, we provided a stage for our senior students to take us through their Co-Curricular activities and showcase their talents beyond academics. Students from each of the 12 clubs walked us through their year-round club activities and displayed their artwork, performances, and achievements. From mastering interesting mathematics tricks, honing speaking skills, trying their hands at tech to learning the art of crocheting, exploring leading world issues, and lending a helping hand in preserving the environment through gardening activities, the students explained how the club activities have helped them indulge in their favourite activities and enhanced collaborations with their peers.

CCA presentation was indeed an eye-opening event that helped us realize the fruitful outcomes of our various programs supporting extra-curricular activities. Watching the future leaders hone their skills and talents at such young ages strengthened our vision of empowering students with the help of our holistic education framework for many more years to come.
