In order to promote India’s cultural heritage and spread awareness among the students, an Inter GIIS Junior Heritage Quiz was hosted by GIIS Smart Campus, Bannerghatta. GIIS Whitefield team was the winner of this quiz. The other participating teams were from GIIS campuses in Ahmedabad, Noida, Balewadi, and Hadapsar. The students who were selected belonged to Grade 3, 4, and 5.

GIIS Whitefield team had 3 students - Deepthi S Prasad (4C), Aarya Atul Jain (5B), and Ayushman Chaudhury (5G). They had started preparing for the quiz well in advance with very good guidance from the teachers of the Primary department. 

There were 5 rounds in total - Ask Me, Cluetopia, Audio Visual Round, Connect and Speed it up. The level of confidence among the students of all the campuses was very high and each team gave a very healthy competition. Team GIIS Whitefield showed very good preparation as they were quick with the answers. GIIS Noida came second followed by GIIS Ahmedabad.

Our opulent heritage is talked about all, by every country and these are often researched by scholars as part of their thesis and assertion. In GIIS we have always believed that our students should get good knowledge about the vast heritage and feel proud of the lineage. The Heritage Quiz is one such way to help students from different campuses come together and share the knowledge by way of an informative competition. It is said that every winner or for that matter every participant basks a lot of information through the questions and the facts shared. GIIS Whitefield students were happy to have received the opportunity to represent their campus and also learn much more than what they had in store. Ours is truly a heritage that makes India shine higher above the rest as an undefeated advantage.
