“Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice.” — Anton Chekhov
April marks that special time of the year when the rhythm of school life gently shifts—making way for the much-awaited summer vacations. It is a season for our students to unwind, explore their interests, and return refreshed. Yet, even as classrooms pause, learning at GIIS Whitefield continues in exciting and meaningful ways.
The campus remained full of energy with our Summer Camps, where curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm took centre stage. Our Pre-Primary Summer Camp was a delightful hub of activity, with our youngest learners joyfully exploring art and craft, music, dance, handwriting, fireless cooking, and simple science experiments. Their laughter, creativity, and growing confidence were truly heartwarming, culminating in a vibrant showcase of their learning.
Equally inspiring was the Sports Summer Camp, where students channelled their energy into developing strength, skill, and sportsmanship. Through structured training and active participation, they embraced discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that extend far beyond the field.
Amidst these enriching experiences, we proudly celebrate our students who secured the 1st Runner-Up position at Uthsaha Vaibhava – Battle of Bands, hosted by BMS College, Yelahanka. Abiel Joen, Ednit Singhal, Swarit Abhay, Danya Mahati, Anvi, and Hrithick impressed all with their musical talent, coordination, and passion.
This month has also been marked by an exceptional academic milestone—our Grade X Results 2025–26. With a 100% pass percentage across 187 students, a remarkable school average of 86.39%, and 28 centum scores, the results are a testament to perseverance, focus, and a strong academic foundation.
We proudly applaud our top achievers:
- Ila Rajiv Nair – 98.6%
- Shantanu Jasraj Jog – 98.4%
- Prisha Agrawal – 98%
- Elena Samuel – 98%
Adding to this moment of pride is Subhani Gupta’s outstanding accomplishment. Her admission offers from leading global universities—including UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, San Jose State University, Arizona State University, University of Wisconsin–Madison, University of Colorado Boulder, and UMass Amherst—along with prestigious scholarships, reflect not just academic excellence but a truly global outlook.
At GIIS Whitefield, we believe learning is not confined to classrooms—it is a continuous journey shaped by experiences, achievements, and aspirations. April has been a beautiful reminder of this philosophy in action.
As we step into the summer break, we look forward to welcoming our students back with renewed energy, fresh ideas, and many more successes to celebrate.
Warm regards,
Manoj Kumar Tiwari
Principal, GIIS Whitefield
