Secondary students win top awards at International Business Olympiad

On August 22, SMART Campus students demonstrated their exceptional business skills at the prestigious International Business Olympiad (IBO) 2024. Competing individually in two key modules—the Objective Test and the Interactive Objective Case—students delivered outstanding performances, securing top awards and bringing pride to the school.


A special commendation goes to CBSE Grade 12 student Adithi Yuvaraju, who achieved a perfect score of 100% in the Objective Test, earning a gold medal. Darshil Agarwal from IB Year 2 also secured a gold medal. Both Adithi and Darshil made it into the competition’s top 10 list, a testament to their impressive skills and knowledge.


The International Business Olympiad is a renowned global platform that brings together young business enthusiasts from across the world, promoting international understanding and encouraging students to develop business awareness and skills. It aims to nurture the next generation of global business leaders through rigorous knowledge competitions.


The two-module test included Objective Test and Interactive Objective Case. Objective Test: A one-hour, 100-question multiple-choice exam designed to evaluate students' theoretical understanding of business concepts.


Interactive Objective Case: A more challenging module, testing students' ability to analyse and apply business knowledge. They were required to solve five case studies, with 100 questions spread across two months. The outstanding performance of the SMART Campus students in the IBO 2024 is a testament to their dedication and knowledge.
