The 9th edition of the GIIS Fathers’ Super Six Cricket Tournament was held on 6 September 2025 at the GIIS East Coast Campus, bringing together fathers from across the community for a day of spirited competition, teamwork, and camaraderie. Over the years, this annual event has grown into a much-anticipated tradition, offering GIIS fathers a platform to showcase their cricketing skills while strengthening community bonds.

This year’s tournament featured 12 teams, each displaying remarkable passion, enthusiasm, and resilience under the hot sunny skies. The matches were packed with energy and thrilling moments, culminating in a gripping final where Cricstars edged past the defending champions, Punggol Paltan, by just 3 runs. The victory was a true reflection of determination, teamwork, and sporting spirit.

Mr. Vivek Prashad of Cricstars was named Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance, while Cricstars proudly lifted the champions’ trophy.

The event would not have been possible without the enthusiastic participation of the players, the encouragement of supporters, and the commitment of the umpires. Their collective energy and sportsmanship created not only a competitive atmosphere but also one that was memorable and enjoyable for everyone present.
