Students of GIIS SMART Campus have recorded an impressive performance at the 2025 Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest, demonstrating high levels of analytical ability and mathematical proficiency.

The Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest is internationally recognised for its rigorous standards and challenging format. Designed to assess mathematical maturity, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, the contest requires students to apply conceptual understanding to complex, multi-step questions under timed conditions.

This year, 38 students from SMART Campus participated in the competition. Of these, 22 students achieved Distinction, a significant accomplishment that reflects both depth of preparation and consistency in performance. Securing a Distinction in this contest places students among high achievers at an international level.

The Distinction holders are: Tanak Prabhatgupta, Sancia Kairo, Divyesh Srivastava, Anuraag Vombatkere, Madhav Sikri, Advika Yadav, Aarya Pandey, Prajjit Gon, Hrishik Deb, Ahan Mathew, Maahi Singh, Saranik Mallick, Thejas Kizhakkechit, Varsha Nagarajan, Arnav Pandey, Prakalpa Prabhu, Anura Rathi, Arnav Jain, Hridaank Nimeshkedia, Archturusdey Das, Shayaan Yarkhan, and Fei Zixiang.

Among them, Fei Zixiang was named School Champion and Top Scorer, achieving the highest score from the campus and earning special recognition for his exceptional performance.

The strong results underscore the students’ commitment to academic excellence and their ability to think critically and work with precision under pressure. The achievement also reflects the sustained emphasis on conceptual clarity and advanced problem-solving within the school’s mathematics programme.

This accomplishment adds to SMART Campus’ growing record of success in international academic competitions and highlights the continued pursuit of excellence in mathematics.
